Prizes awarded to the winners!
KFANDRA surprised the players by awarding a 'direct currency exchange' for how many every Kroopies the players won. The players were asked to 'bet' their home-made Kroopee currency on each game they played. Each player was asked to bring 10 x 10 notes of Kroopee currency which they could use to place bets. As real-money betting is for the cray-cray, and those who need money pretty badly, the fake-money betting was just an interesting way to 'experience' the betting craze. The small amounts the players 'betted' were not from their personal real-money funds. KFANDRA just decided that it would be fun to surprise the players with a real currency exchange. Just enough money to maybe buy some vegetables on the way home, or fill some petrol.
The players above are M. Inamdar, P. Gurhani, N. Patwardhan and S. Inamdar.
The player that lost the most was T. Pardeshi, whose loss of 50 Kroopies still made him feel bad, but with a smile on his face.
He fully experienced the craziness of betting, as on a numerous occasions he lost all his fake-cash, then took a loan from the KFANDRA Bank, of more fake-cash, which he betted with and then won back all the Kroopies he lost, then he lost them all again, after which he then betted again, to at least end up with 50 Kroopies in his pocket.

The Kroopee hits the market!
Take a gander at the designs of the talented players at KFANDRA! The players were asked to create their version of the KFANDRA Kroopee, the in-house currency for all KFANDRA games. The fake currency is supposed to be equal to our own real-currency, which is the Rupee. This morning's session was what KFANDRA is all about as the players 'betted' with the fake-currency and had a great time. No doubt it's fantastic fun when real-cash isn't involved! It's only the players ego that gets hit hard and the banter that never ends. See a bigger image of the designs and a quick description of the notes by KFANDRA's own 'currency design expert'.

Imagining 'The Kroopee'!
(A review by KFANDRA's in-house design expert)
(From top left across the page and back) 1. T. Tamhane's Kroopee shows off a full sized football pitch. Being a Goalkeeper, his estimation of how big the 18 yard box and 6 yard box, as compared to the rest of the pitch, is definitely a bit dodgy. And there are no arcs at the edge of the 18 yard box either. My wise daughter said, "but daddy! There's no penalty spot, so why should there be an arc?" So young, yet so wise! 2. T. Pardeshi designed two notes actually, only one of which is produced here. The other note didn't have what is supposed to be a football in the zero of the number 10. My daughter, who is really liking the job I have today, said, "maybe it's punctured Daddy?" 3. Clearly P. Gurhani is a cartoon fan. The character is from some Anime I think. Is that a spacesuit or is he an undercover assassin? 4. A. Mishra came home by train at 3.30 am, listened to his wife yelling at him, comforted his daughter and while eating something unhealthy, he managed to create his version of the Kroopee. Well done! 5. I need to ask S. Inamdar if that is a whistle wearing a crown? After looking at this drawing, I'm just happy he became a CA. 6. N. Patwardhan went for simple and smart. I do think he realized only after he wrote KFA that KFANDRA has 7 letters. 7. BANNED! S. Sharma will probably get his Club TT deducted a point for this. Clearly he's associating his desperation for a 'smoke' with this character he's drawn. My daughter said, 'Daddy? Who's this girl? Why is she smoking? Is smoking allowed at KFANDRA?' I told her, 'no little one, she's supposed to be singing and that's a musical note coming out of her mouth!' My daughter punched me and walked off. 8. Where did A. Bansal steal that smiley stamp from? Yeesh! Looks very scary indeed! 9. The only fellow to use more than 2 colours is A. Sanghvi! Just look at that design on the football, the lovely green grass and the unique underlined KR design. Also, this chap has created a serial number for the notes. The players were supposed to create only 10 notes, the number on this note is 0029! 10. I used to be very afeared of M. Inamdar and after seeing his Kroopee creation, I'm bloody scared of him even more than before. Clearly he seems to be dealing with death and poison and I think I'll just move on to the next one. 11. Ghotge seems to be confused, for he's confused me. Is that a castle? What is that? Is that his thumb print? Really? 12. You must admire this note. It's exactly what it is. No pretensions at all. But then, can it really be equal to 10 Kroopies? The man that made this must be punished!! 13. Wo!! Now A. Babhale has surely put KFANDRA into a lot of trouble. He's actually used the 'real' Indian 10 rupee note and changed it! Great effort Mr. Babhale! But the KFANDRA Head Honcho's don't want to be sent to jail, which means your note is disqualified! 14. No entry received!

6 is enough!
Yesterday, the session saw only 6 players managing to make it, but that did not deter from the intensity of the session. After the almost 2+ hour session, the players were rewarded with a local Indian sweet and sachets of a Veg Mayo brand. The players are now never surprised at the unique gifts awarded to them once in a while.

Fans get cheeky!
The fans were forwarding an image created by a person with a lot of time on his or her hands. After yesterday's tepid affair, the fans created something that would've done a better job than the players yesterday. For more on this, read the review of the 1st Leg SF match between TT and PPP.

Now it's tomatoes?
The players that had time to stay back at this morning's session, were in for a surprise as they were awarded a special gift.
A 'big name' grocery and more, delivery outlet, gifted the KFANDRA Office with a packet containing something heavy indeed. The gift was for ordering stuff that came above a certain amount. Lo and behold, the surprise and happiness was short lived as the entire KFANDRA staff is allergic to the prezzie, which was a Kg of tomatoes!
Which is why, after the session, the fresh Kg of succulent tomatoes were awarded to the players.

What the bleedin' ell?
This weird insect was spotted creeping about on the 'KFANDRA Office Terrace' and was clicked by an alert staff member who was 'not' on the terrace lazing about. Does anyone have a clue which insect this is?
Note the crazy 'appendage' sticking out from it's 'bum?' or 'head?'. Clearly this 'appendage' is used to 'lure' unsuspecting prey. Or maybe it's to attract the opposite sex for a bit of 'fun-time?'

KFANDRA shin pads!
Apart from the gum shields for rugby training, now KFANDRA has provided professional quality shin pads for the players.
Player protection is surely important at KFANDRA!
Many have stated that especially at KFANDRA, all this protection isn't needed, because the players are so disciplined. But KFANDRA doesn't want there to be even the slightest chance that an injury can occur because the players were lacking some sort of material to keep them safe.

A home-made Clock for KFANDRA!
KFANDRA decided to use some material it had lying around the office and created a clock for the KFANDRA sessions and matches. Now Khare won't be constantly bothered by players asking for the time during sessions and matches, as they worried about getting late for their real-life work.

Atharva 'Dee' Deo and the gift from his little bro!
Deo's younger brother was none to pleased when his elder brother came home visiting. When he suddenly realized that he had to share his parents again with his elder brother, he decided to give him a little present. A pity the present was to stamp on his brothers toe! The youngest sibling thought that PCF player Dee, would now rush back to Pune to get away from him. Unfortunately for the younger bro, Dee now has to stay back for another 2 weeks as he can't put his shoes on. The KFANDRA players must remember a couple of weeks ago, when the big toe nail on Dee's other foot came off. Now Atharva Deo has two big toes with no nails and a younger brother that's hungry for more.

The KFANDRA players show off their new year gifts and prizes!
The players were gifted a bunch of 'lemon grass' each to take away for the new year by Surhud Khare and Sudarshan 'Shmoo' Sharma took home an additional prize of a can of 'baked beans' (which he said later was ravished by his family at breakfast time) and Neel 'Patty' Patwardhan who took home a special hair care product. The two were voted in as players that performed exceptionally well during the last session of the year 2022.
Saumin 'Cm' Athalye with his Testimonial Frame of Incompetence!
Saumin 'Cm' Athalye was bid a fond farewell by KFANDRA this morning. The caricature provides the viewer a brief glimpse at Athalye and what makes him tick. The worried looking chicken/rooster is Athalye's favourite 'protein' and the poor bird is not destined for green meadows. The dumbbell is reflective of Athalye's progress in terms of fitness as he's one of 3 KFANDRA players to progress through KFANDRA's rigorous S and C Home Workout routine. Everything else needs no explanation. Well, maybe his calves do! KFANDRA takes total credit for Athalye's
massive calves!
KFANDRA progresses to professionally relaying turf! If only!
One of KFANDRA's players Sanghvi, kindly offered the extra left over lawn from his home to be used on a couple of rough patches at KFANDRA's Home ground. With the approval of the owner of the ground, KFANDRA 'experts' from top clockwise, Gurhani, Sanghvi, Bansal and Khan are observed carefully laying down the turf.

Pardeshi and Athalye saw that the KFANDRA Media was taking snaps and ran over to ensure that their participation in the relaying of the turf wasn't missed. Bansal can be seen clearly thinking of relaying his bed with the same lawn.

TWENTY of the 22 KFANDRA player squad made it to Saumin 'Cm' Athalye's Testimonial this morning!
No doubt the player is well liked...or maybe they all came for the refreshments after! Whatever the case, the players enjoyed their 2nd last outing
with their teammate. The images do not show two kits but the front and back of this unique design. Some may not know it, but this seasons KLC4 kit
design has a unique meaning behind the pattern. For the explanation, read the latest news!

Ready, set and almost go!
The grass is cut, the goal nets are up and the ground just needs a touch of marking.
Unfortunately, the rains have caused a bit of havoc and some soil may have to be used to flatten some sections of the ground. When the soils wet, rampaging buffalo or a trotting horse can indeed cause pockets of damage here and there.

Bhorde wins, Athalye and S. Inamdar share!
Adit 'Mop' Bhorde came top of the points table in this mornings session and won a packet of soup. Saumin 'Cm' Athalye and Shubhankar 'Ashubh' Inamdar shared a packet of soup as they came joint second. Inamdar was heard telling teammate Athalye later, to bring his share of the soup to the next session. Cm replied by asking how he should get his share of the soup.
After which we gave up recording their inane conversation.
We do hope they enjoy the newest soup on the market created by 'Cani Baal Enterprises'.

Rubber/Spot Marker plan a success!
KFANDRA has been experimenting with their plan to reduce the expenses in regards to the money spent on chalk powder of phakki used to mark the ground for tournaments.
While the common 'flat cone' is used to mark drills, or even used as a tee, it became an impediment if used to mark internal lines on the ground as the distinctive protrusion/bump on the cone could divert the direction of the ball quite a bit. During the KLC3, a lot of money and time was spent on the marking. Now that the experiment with spot markers has proved successful, KFANDRA will be marking the ground only twice in the season with chalk powder. Once before the season starts and a 2nd time when only half of the season is left to go.
Yellow markers will be used for the 18 yard box's, Red for the halfway line and green for the goal lines on the outside of the poles.

Player of the session on 08 10 22!
Niranjan 'Goodman' Sarda was surprised when KFANDRA announced the winner of the session this morning. KFANDRA explained that the players were fighting over points, after which they were asked to vote for the winner and thus, Sarda was picked. On closer inspection, the man they call Goodman was astonished when he looked closer at the box of 'assorted spice' mix.
A KFANDRA spokesperson cryptically said, 'did the players actually vote for the winner of the session? Were they destined to argue over points? Or can KFANDRA cross the myriad of multiverses to reach one where Goodman has a totally different profession?'

Tanmay 'Tan' Pardeshi meanwhile, isn't getting complacent with his numerous victories. In fact he said that every new award makes him happier and pushes him to work even harder. Pardeshi got his packet of 'bitter chakkali/murukku sticks' with a huge grin and didn't delay in sharing it with everyone.
